The Old Post Office Pozořická, built in 1785, is a valuable and significant historical sight. On 28 November 1805 the Marshal Murat had his headquarters at this "staging" post of the Austrian mail. On the same day the Emperor Napoleon had a meeting here with his marshals and on 2 December 1805 the Russian General Bagration had his main headquarters here. After the winning battle the Emperor Napoleon stayed overnight at The Old Post Office and received the Austrian envoy Prince John (Liechtenstein) here on 3 December 1805. They arranged a meeting in which the Emperor Francis I and Napoleon agreed to sign an armistice.

- check in  - The Old Post Office offers stylish and discrete luxury accommodation in restful and pleasant  surroundings only a quarter of an hour outside Brno, the Czech Republic's second-largest town.

- visit to the Battlefield Museum (In the very same room in which the Emperor Napoleon held his briefing for the tactics of the battle are model order of battle layouts, uniforms, weapons, and many more  exhibits to help recall the events of nearly two centuries ago.

- dinner at local period restaurant - Careful renovation and attention to detail in the original Old Post Office building resulted a restaurant that retains much of the original interior, making for a unique atmosphere. The menu features Moravian and Bohemian specialities.

Day  4

- time at leisure   ( The Old Post Office was a staging post for the Imperial Austrian Mail. The stables  are original, so it is hardly surprising, and entirely in keeping with the atmosphere of the place, that horseback or horse-drawn tours of the battlefield are available. The tours cover all the places that played significant parts in  the battle, and experienced guides are available to relate and combine the historical facts into a truly entertaining whole.)

- after lunch - halfday tour to Lednice Chateau -  33miles S  from Brno. This originally gothic fortress was re-built as a Renaissance chateau and extended in the baroque style. The chateau gained its final appearance after the pseudo-Gothic restoration in the Thudor style in 1846-1858 . It includes a green house and a large English park with a number of romantic constructions, a palm green house and the Malawi aquarium with salt- and freshwater fish. A minaret with a look-out is located in the park. A unique mammoth head is displayed in the museum. Since 1996 the area of Lednice and Valtice has been listed on the UNESCO list.
