Welcome to Prague – one of the most beautiful cities of the old continent. Prague has been for centuries the crossroad where various cultures and artistic trends met. The Prague Heritage Reservation is one of the largest town reservations on the UNESCO list of World Historical Heritage Sites. Recently Prague had been honoured by being selected as one of European ´s cities of culture of the year 2000. Program for minimum 100 persons

Day 1

• arrrival in Prague
• transfer from the airport to the hotel combined with short orientation city tour
• welcome at the hotel and check-in
• gifts in rooms /typical Bohemian crystal, a bottle of Bohemian champaigne and Prague guide-book/
• Vltava River cruise with welcome buffet-dinner, live music and fireworks
• transfer to the hotel and overnight

 

Day 2

• buffet-breakfast at the hotel
• walking tour of the Old Town of Prague (including Old Town Square with its atronomical clock, the former Jewish Ghetto of Prague and Charles Bridge )
• typical Bohemian lunch at Novoměstský pivovar /the New Town Brewery restaurant/ with the opportunity to watch the actual brewing of local 11% larger
• tour of the brewery
• departure for Mělník - (23 miles) N from Prague, Mělník is situated on the confluence of the rivers Vltava and Labe, it is the centre of Bohemian wine production. The high tower of the Romanesque church is the local landmark, while Mělník castle with its terraces overlooking the vinyards adds grandeur and beauty to the scene
• welcome at Mělník-Castle - the seat of Czech princesses and queens, the Lobkowicz family owns the estate since 1753 - traditional welcome with bread and salt and welcome drink served by girls in folk costums in castle courtyard
• tour of the castle and visit to the cellars with wine tasting - guides in folk costumes
• festive dinner with music, dance and award ceremony at the “Castle Concert Hall”
• transfer to the hotel and overnight

Day 3

• buffet-breakfast at the hotel
• sightseeing tour of Prague by including interiror visit to the Prague Castle /St. Vitus Cathedral, Vladislav Hall, St. George´s Basilica and Golden Lane/
• lunch at local restaurants in the Lesser Town – the painters in historical costumes will make portraits or cartoons of guests during the lunch-time
• afternoon at leisure
• farewell dinner with folklore show and dances at the restaurant “U Marcanu”
• transfer to the hotel and overnight

Day 4

• buffet-breakfast at the hotel
• transfer to the airport and departure from Prague
