Welcome to Prague one of the most beautiful cities of the old
continent. Prague has been for centuries the crossroad where
various cultures and artistic trends met. The Prague Heritage
Reservation is one of the largest town reservations on the UNESCO
list of World Historical Heritage Sites. Recently Prague had been honoured by being selected as one of European ´s cities of
culture of the year 2000. Prague is the right place where you can
arrange your meeting, conference, congress or other similar event
–it offers a choice of 3-to 5star hotels with meeting
facilities as well as many variants for special programs which
can be designed according to your individual needs!
Day 1
- arrival in Prague
- transfer from the airport to the hotel

- sightseeing tour of Prague by coach
/orientation tour and visit to Prague Castle/

Day 2
- buffet-breakfast at the hotel
- walking tour of the Old Town of Prague
(passing the Old Town Square with its atronomical clock,
the former Jewish Ghetto of Prague and Charles Bridge )
- typical Bohemian lunch at Novoměstský pivovar
/the New Town Brewery restaurant/ with the opportunity to
watch the actual brewing of local 11% larger
- tour of the brewery
- afternoon at leisure
- Medieval dinner with Charles
IV - the group is expected by a monk at the
entrance and taken into the first part of the
cellar - a medieval kitchen. Guests are welcomed
by publicans, serves sweep the floor and
townspeople talk lively over a goblet of wine.
Guests go on to a lower part of the cellar.
Flourishes sound, King Charles IV. comes
accompanied by his retinue and court jester, he
welcomes guests and opens the feast, publicans
serve mug of beer.There is a hors d ´oeuvre -
lard with greaves on period decorated tables. The
first course is townspeople ´s poultry soup, the
main course is a big dish of roasted and spicy
meats. Following memory of vine growing in
Bohemia. In the end grilled apple with
cranberries. During the dinner time a medieval
theatre programme is performed.

Day 3

- arrival to The Old Post Office Pozorická (near the town
Brno) The Old Post Office
Pozorická, built in 1785, is a valuable and significant
historical sight. On 28 November 1805 the Marshal Murat had his
headquarters at this "staging" post of the Austrian
mail. On the same day the Emperor Napoleon
had a meeting here with his marshals and on 2 December 1805 the
Russian General Bagration had his main headquarters here. After
the winning battle the Emperor Napoleon stayed overnight at The
Old Post Office and received the Austrian envoy Prince John
(Liechtenstein) here on 3 December 1805. They arranged a meeting
in which the Emperor Francis I and Napoleon agreed to sign an
armistice.

Lednice Castle the originally
Gothic fortress was re-built as a Renaissance chateau and
extended in the Baroque style. The chateau gained its
final appearance after the pseudo-Gothic restoration in
the Thudor style in 1846-1858. It includes a green house
and a large English park with a number of romantic
constructions, a palm green house and the Malawi aquarium
with salt- and freshwater fish. A minaret with a look-out
is located in the park. A unique mammoth head is
displayed in the museum. The area of Lednice and Valtice
has been listed on the UNESCO list since 1996. |

medieval-styl wine tasting with the Czech King Jan
Lucemburk ( wine tasting – introduction of the guests
to King Jan and to his retinue – toast to the King –
repeated wine tasting - proclamation of the best “wine
expert” by the King).
The winery has had a long tradition of
producing wines from the grapes of the fertile, unpolluted
vineyards in the south-east corner of Moravia. ZNOVIN is an
important Czech wine producer exporting its exquisite wines to a
number of countries, e.g. UK (Direct Wines - The Sunday Times
Wine Club), Sweden and Germany.
The headquarters of the company are situated in the village of
Šatov. Šatov wine cellar is 300 years old and it is situated
7,5 metres below the ground .
